HR 35 'Urquhart Castle' on a passenger train approaching Stanley

HR 35 'Urquhart Castle' on a passenger train approaching Stanley. The first coach is from North British Railways stock whilst the third is a Caledonian Railway Pullman.

HR 35 was one of the final two engines built to Peter Drummond's original design of the Highland Railway's 'Castle' class 4-6-0 express passenger locomotive. It was built by the North British Locomotive Company in 1910; some 10 years after the first batch had been delivered. After the grouping it became LMS 14686 and continued in service until being withdrawn in July 1946.
