LMS 14276 on train entering Alves in May 1928. The service is from Elgin to Inverness.
14276 (formerly HR 100) was a member of the Highland Railway's 'Strath' class of 4-4-0 passenger locomotive which were built by Neilson Reid & Co. of Glasgow in 1892. It was renumbered 100A in July 1919 but reverted to 100 in September of that year. It was part of the class to pass into LMS ownership and was withdrawn from service in February 1930.
