HR 52 was a member of the Highland Railway's 'Clan' class of 4-6-0 passenger locomotive. It was designed by Christopher Cumming and built by Hawthorn Leslie & Co. at Newcastle in 1919. After the grouping it became LMS 14764 and continued in service until being withdrawn in February 1948.
