HR 46 on an officer's special at an unidentified location

HR 46 on an officer's special at an unidentified location. The train is stationary on a stretch of single track. The men are officials of the Railway Company on an inspection visit.

HR 46 was one of four 0-4-4 tank engines built in 1905/06 to work on the Highland Railway's various small branch lines. It was the last locomotive to be built at the company's own Lochgorm Works in Inverness. After the grouping it became LMS 15054 and continued in service until being withdrawn in October 1945.
