HR 53 'Clan Stewart' on a passenger train near Carrbridge in 1923.

HR 53 was a member of the Highland Railway's 'Clan' class of 4-6-0 passenger locomotive. It was designed by Christopher Cumming and built by Hawthorn Leslie & Co. at Newcastle in 1919. After the grouping it became LMS 14765 and continued in service until being withdrawn in February 1945.

The station was renamed Carrbridge on 16 May 1983.
