HR 49 'Clan Campbell' on a passenger train at Carr Bridge in 1923.

HR 49 was a member of the Highland railway's 'Clan' class of 4-6-0 passenger locomotive. It was designed by Christopher Cumming and built by Hawthorn Leslie & Co. at Newcastle in 1919. After the grouping it became LMS 14762 and continued in service until being withdrawn in June 1947.

The station was renamed Carrbridge on 16 May 1983.
