14685 (formerly HR 30) was one of the final two engines of the Highland Railway's 'Castle' class 4-6-0 express passenger locomotive. It was built by the North British Locomotive Company in 1910; some 10 years after the first batch had been delivered. It continued in service until being withdrawn in January 1946.
