The River Dochart, Killin

The village of Killin sits at the western end of Loch Tay on the banks of the River Dochart. At the west end of the village an old stone arched bridge carries the road over the River Dochart and the Falls of Dochart. The Falls of Dochart are one of the most photographed sections of the River Dochart which flows from Loch Dochart into Loch Tay at Killin. Just below the Falls is the island of Inchbuie, the ancient burial ground of the Clan MacNab who were long associated with Killin.
