An Teallach in Winter

Found to the southwest of Dundonnell, An Teallach is an impressive mountain massif with ten summits over 3000ft. The highest of these summits is Bidean a' Ghlas Thuill at 3484ft (1062m) and is classed as a Munro (Scottish mountain over 3000ft). Another summit, Sgurr Fiona (3478ft / 1060m), was granted Munro status by the Scottish Mountaineering Club in 1981 because it has a drop of at least 500ft on every side. The mountain is mostly composed of Torridonian sandstone.
