This is a picture of Beinn Alligin, a mountain north of Loch Torridon. The name Beinn Alligin is from the Scottish Gaelic meaning Jewelled Hill.

The mountain has two peaks of Munro status: Tom na Gruagaich (922 m) to the south, and Sgurr Mhòr (986 m) to the north.

The picturesque crofting village of Inveralligin lies on the northern shore of Upper Loch Torridon, in the North-West Highlands of Scotland.
