Second from the left is Miss Dick, Chief Pharmacist; seventh from the left is Sister Gauld; fourth from the right is Andrew Lyon, Chief Clerk; and second from the right is Miss McCutcheon, Assistant Matron. The gentleman in the wheelchair at the front has been identified as Sandy Alexander.

The first phase of the new Raigmore Hospital was opened in 1983.
