Diners at the Highland Pudding Club's Christmas Party in 1995

This photograph shows diners at the Highland Pudding Club's Christmas Party at Bunchrew House in 1995. That evening they enjoyed a six-course meal comprising Christmas Pudding, Yule Log, Rice Pudding, Panettone, Mince meat Pies and Paupiette of fresh fruits.

The inaugural meeting of the Highland Pudding Club took place on 22 July 1992 at the Longhouse Restaurant in Nairn. Nearly 30 people attended for an evening of deserts and sweets along with pudding-related quizzes and competitions. Members of the Club then met on a regular basis in restaurants whose chefs were renowned for their puddings and deserts.
