Flora Campbell from Drumbeg

Flora Campbell from Drumbeg who was working for Murdo Campbell, then a tenant of Kylesku Hotel, in the mid-1930s.

Drumbeg is a small community lying on the north coast of the parish of Assynt. It overlooks Edrachillis Bay towards Handa Island and the rest of the Sutherland mainland. The small fishing township of Kylesku lies to the east of Drumbeg where Loch Glencoul and Loch Glendhu join to form a narrow passage which flows into Eddrachillis Bay. The Kyelsku Hotel, which is still in business today, was originally a coaching inn which dates from 1680.
