Durness School Choir at the Sutherland Provincial Mod in 1967. The children are pictured with their teacher, Mrs Dolly MacDougall (nee Gunn). Two of the girls pictured have Mod medals on their ties. Dolly MacDougall ran the 'wee room' at the primary school and her husband, Rev John MacDougall (a Skye man), was the parish minister. Rev MacDougall was a chaplain to the 2nd Seaforths and was killed in Normandy in 1944.
