The presentation of a boat from the Campbeltown people to Dugald Muir, in 1901. Muir, a well known local fisherman, lost his boat during an act of immense bravery. He rescued the crew of 'The Ribbon' after their boat ran aground at Smerby. The local people bought Muir a replacement boat in gratitude for his act and paraded him round Campbeltown in it
