Fishermen at the end of Carradale pier, eleven miles north-east of Campbeltown. Carradale Pier House is hidden behind the hazy right hand side of the photograph. The house on the hill, behind the masts, is Ardcarrach House. THe house was built by Captain Thomas Kerr who had commanded ships along the west coast of Scotland.
