Unloading sacks from a ship onto a horse-drawn cart. These carts were used extensively in Kintyre for tasks such as carrying coal and peat to distilleries or taking grain from barley ships to the maltings and back to the ships. The photograph was taken by the Campbeltown-based photographers Charles and Dennis MacGrory.
