Davochmaluac Tower

A small Cromwellian detachment was garrisoned in this tower in the 1640s. The area was so pro-government at that time that it is unlikely that there were any more of Cromwell's troops found north of the river Peffery.

This illustration was taken from 'History of the Ancient Province of Ross' by Robert Bain
