Fingal's Cave, Staffa

Fingal's Cave can be found on the island of Staffa, south west of Colonsay. The island is owned by the National Trust for Scotland. Staffa is famed for its basalt columns which have created many unique coastal features, including Fingal's Cave. The cave has been a source of inspiration to many artists and composers, including Felix Mendelssohn who was inspired to write his 'Hebrides Overture'.
