This illustration was taken from 'A Tour in Scotland' by Thomas Pennant. It shows Duntulm Castle, on the Isle of Skye. The castle was inhabited into the early 1700s by the clan MacDonald, but now lies in ruins. Situated 26 miles north of Portree, its name translates as "fort on the green grassy headland". The castle overlooks the natural harbour of Tulm Bay
