This plan of the stone bridge across the river at Thurso was drawn up by John Rennie Esq., a noted engineer. The plan shows the side view of the bridge and the height of each of the five arches. It also shows the plan of the superstructure as well as the plan of the foundations of the bridge.

The plan was drawn for Sir John Sinclair and the bridge was estimated to cost £755 13shillings and 8d.

The bridge still exists.
