The ruins of 'Teampull Sulasgeir' stand on the uninhabited Island of Sula Sgeir, 41 miles north of the Butt of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides'. The low rugged building, with rounded corners and curved roof, occupies a small semi-insulated spot closely surrounded by rocks. This ground plan for what may have been a temple is from 'Archaeologia Scotica, or Transactions of the Society of Antiquaries of Scotland', Vol V - Part I, Edinburgh, 1873
