This postcard shows the crofting township of Coldbackie, situated at the head of Tongue Bay in Sutherland. Two miles north of the village of Tongue, it is dominated by views of the Watch Hill, a spectacular conglomerate red sandstone cliff which is around 400 million years old. The cliff offers magnificent views across the Kyle of Tongue
