This postcard shows a view of Loch Duich from the Kintail Lodge Hotel in West Ross. The hotel stands by the foot of the mountain peaks known as 'The Five Sisters' and is a conversion of a Victorian Highland shooting lodge.

Loch Duich is a sea loch that travels south east from the village of Dornie and leads into the Kyle of Loch Alsh, before flowing into the open sea. The loch is most famous for having Eilean Donan Castle situated at its mouth
