Wooden kist in Presmuchrach Bothy

Presmuchrach Bothy, now relocated to the Highland Folk Museum. It was originally built in the early 1900s at Presmuchrach near Dalwhinnie using approximately 65 recycled railway sleepers.

This photograph shows a wooden kist for storage at the side of the bed in the principal room of the bothy with washing and shaving implements and an oil lamp on top. At the side of the kist are a pair of leather gaiters.
