This postcard shows a bridge across a river near Contin, Ross-shire. Contin is a small settlement situated at the confluence of the rivers Conon and Blackwater, not far from Strathpeffer. It is close to many areas of great scenic interest, including the Falls of Rogie and the Torr Achilty forest walks. Torr Achilty is also the site of a dam and power station which form part of the Conon Hydro-Electric Scheme.
