The Coigach hills, near Ullapool

This postcard shows a view of the Coigach hills just north of Ullapool. The small loch in the distance is Lochanan Dubha. The hill with the pointed summit is Sgurr an Fhidhleir, known in English as The Fiddler (2306 feet, 703 metres), while the mountain to its left is Ben Mor Coigach ('the big mountain of Coigach') which rises to a height of 2437 feet (743 metres). To the right of Sgurr an Fhidhleir is the double-topped Beinn an Eoin which reaches 2027 feet (618 metres) at its highest point.
