A glimpse of Latheronwheel Village

Postcard showing Latheronwheel village from a distance.

The village of Latheronwheel was set up in 1835 by Captain Robert Dunbar as a fishing village. It is thought that almost fifty boats may have used this harbour at the height of the herring industry boom in the north of Scotland.
