Loch Coruisk from Ghreadaidh, Skye

This dramatic image was taken from Sgurr a Ghreadaigh (973m),(Peak of the Mountain), looking south east down the length of Loch Coruisk on Skye. The corrie in which the loch has formed was eroded by glacial action thousands of years ago. Sgurr na Stri lies at the far end, with Strathaird peninsula behind and Loch Scavaig, a sea loch, just visible on the right
