The Storr Rock and Loch, near Portree, Skye

The rough surface of the narrow road passing Loch Fada has been improved but it remains single track to the present day. This is a particularly popular view of the massive rock known as The Storr, with the pillar, The Old Man of Storr, to the right. The loch, along with Storr Lochs and Loch Leathan, is stocked with fish by the Skye Angling Association, and through the small power station close by, contributes electricity to Skye.
