This photograph was taken from Sgurr nan Eag, the Notched Peak, 3031ft (924m) one of the Munros of the south Cuillin ridge. Sgurr nan Eag is a huge mountain with vast scree and rock slopes which make for a long arduous but not particularily difficult ascent. The splendid views are hardly given justice in this postcard. The double peak of solid, imposing Blà Bheinn dominates the skyline and below, just visible is Loch Coruisk
