Glen Sligachan and Marscow, Skye

Glen Sligachan runs for nearly eight miles from Sligachan to Loch Coruisk, and Loch Scavaig, creating a natural boundary between the Red and Black Cuillin. The much used path takes one over some rugged, isolated terrain. The great bulk of Marsco rises on the left. Being easily accessible from Sligachan, Marsco is a favourite with walkers. Although just short of the 3000 foot requirement for a Munro, the walk to the summit is well worth the effort, with spectacular views from every angle
