Isle of Skye, Glen Sligachan and Marscow

Though not one of the highest peaks on Skye, Marsco is a favourite with walkers and climbers. This great lump of granite, with the very distinctive shoulder is an imposing and beautiful mountain. It is situated just off the main Broadford to Portree road, perfectly placed for access from the Sligachan Hotel and campsite. In this postcard, you can see the start of the well - worn path on the left of the river, leading to the base of Marsco, and through Glen Sligachan to Loch Coruisk and Loch Scavaig
