Knock Castle, or Caisteal Camus, is situated on a promontory on the north east coast of Knock Bay on the Sleat peninsula of the Isle of Skye. From the 14th century to the mid-15th century it was owned by the MacLeods. The MacDonalds took possession for some time before, under seige, the MacLeods gained control again
