Buchaille Etive Mor from Moor of Rannoch, Glencoe

This postcard contains a painting of Buchaille Etive Mor as seen from the moor of Rannoch, Glencoe. The name is an anglicisation of the Gaelic Buchaille Eite Mhor, which translates as the 'Great Heardsman of Etive.' Located at the head of Glen Etive, its distinct pyramid-like form makes it one of the most recognisable peaks in Scotland.

A popular destination amongst climbers, who often refer to it as The Buchaille or The Beuckle, it contains four principle summits, three of which are classified as munros.
