Inverness motor vehicle registrations ST6685, ST6686, ST6687, ST6688, ST6689, ST6690, ST6691, ST6692, ST6693, ST6694, ST6695, ST6696, ST6697, ST6698, ST6699, ST6700, ST6701 & ST6702.

It has been brought to our attention by one of our users that the motorcycle ST6689, listed above, was purchased in Inverness by Rupert Gould in 1933. He used the motorcycle to travel around Loch Ness when he was researching the Loch Ness Monster. He christened his bike 'Cynthia', after the heroine in the film, Christopher Strong', released in 1933. This information is contained within the book 'Time Restored: the Harrison timekeepers and R T Gould, the man who knew (almost) everything' by Jonathan Betts (2006).
