Balmoral Nurseries, Inverness Road, Nairn

This postcard shows D. Stalker and Sons, the Balmoral Nurseries in Nairn, Morayshire.

Nairn was granted a royal charter in the twelfth century by Alexander I. There is evidence that there has been a settlement here since the Bronze Age. While the town blossomed in the late nineteenth century as a beach resort, many of its current visitors are drawn by its golf course.
