Steps to Castle Walk, Inverness

This photograph shows steps on Castle Road, leading to Castle Walk in Inverness. The steps are still in existence today but the buildings to the left of the rail were demolished in the late 1950s and early 1960s. Castle Road, Bank Street and Bridge Street all came under major reconstruction throughout the 1960s and many of the town's oldest buildings were demolished and replaced by modern concrete structures
