Dalcross House at Queensgate, Inverness

An early black and white photograph of old Dalcross House at Queensgate, Inverness.

Located at the corner of Queensgate, between Bank St and Academy St, near the centre of the Highland capital, Dalcross House dates back to the eighteenth century. The shop at the ground level traded as 'George MacLeod, Fishmonger and Poulterer'. Even when the picture was taken, the house was in advanced stages of disrepair.
