This photograph shows Johnnie Campbell of Newtonmore (left) attacking the Lochfyneside defence during the 1947 Camanachd Cup Final in Oban.

Newtonmore won the game 4-0.

Newtonmore Camanachd was founded in 1895 and is one of the most successful clubs in the history of the sport. At the time of writing (2010) they have won the sports premier competition, the Camanachd Cup, on 28 occasions.
