Newtonmore Camanachd was founded in 1895 and is one of the most successful clubs in the history of the sport. At the time of writing (2010) they have won the sports premier competition, the Camanachd Cup, on 28 occasions.

Caberfeidh Camanachd was founded in 1886 and play in Strathpeffer. They have won the Camanachd Cup twice (in 1934 and 1939).
