Little boy cycling at Inverbroom

A young boy on his tricycle at Inverbroom. Although it is not known who this boy is, from both the fact that he had a tricycle to play with and his clothing it is evident that he is from a wealthy background. Compare the button boots with the bare foot children in some of the school photos. See also the leafy arches in the background, evidence of employing professional gardeners. Inverbroom is situated a mile or so east of the head of Loch Broom on the south side of the River Broom. It had a well developed complex of gardens and glass houses.
