This photograph shows detail of the left hand window on the west wall of the Main Hall in Inverness Town House.

At the top are the crest, shield and motto of Clan Chisholm. The crest is a right hand holding a dagger piercing a boar's head. The shield is red with a boar's head. The motto is, at the top, 'Fero ferio' (I am fierce with the fierce) and, at the bottom, 'Vi aut virtute' (by force or virtue).
