This is the first part of a piece of film which was shot at the reunion in 1986 of people who had worked as nurses at hospitals in Inverness from the 1930s onwards. The event was held at Eden Court and was attended by around 350 people.

The film begins with some announcements and letters from people who were unable to attend. These are followed by a brief update (from an unnamed speaker) of developments at the town's various hospitals - Craig Dunain, Craig Phadraig, the RNI (Royal Northern Infirmary), Culduthel, Hilton, and Raigmore.

The film was recorded on a hand-held camcorder and is therefore a bit jumpy in places.
