These interviews were conducted by school pupils as part of a 'Their Past Your Future' project.

Bill Grant was interviewed by pupils in Dornoch Primary School. He talks about bombing in Glasgow and being evacuated, in 1939, to live with an aunt, uncle and cousins near Dornoch. He remembers feeling lonely at first but making friends at school and enjoying the Saturday jobs on the farm which were more like playing to a small boy. He speaks about a plane crashing next to the house and his feelings of missing Dornoch when he went back to Glasgow.
