Dunvegan from the Loch, Skye

Taken from the south west, this photograph shows part of the village of Dunvegan. The buildings are strung out along the shore of Dunvegan Loch, where cruise ships have taken the place of Caledonian MacBrayne steamers. The ships regularly call in the summer months, ferrying their passengers ashore by launch to visit the famous Dunvegan Castle.
