This photo is taken from the Bealach na Ba road, looking across to Loch Kishorn. Bealach Na Ba, which translates as 'Pass of the Cattle, is a single-track mountain road, which rises as high as 626 metres (2053ft) in the Applecross Peninsula, Wester Ross. The road has been engineered in the style of the mountain passes in the Alps, incorporating sharp hairpin bends as it winds its way up the hillside.
