Painting of Wick Harbour, 1886, by W.J. Renny

This painting of Wick Harbour by W.J. Renny hangs in the Carnegie library building in Wick. It was presented to Wick Library by James Dunnet of Bowertower in 1935 in memory of his late wife Janet C.B. Dunnet.

This view of Pulteneytown Harbour shows a fifie boat in the foreground with other fishing boats at anchor behind it. There are four fishermen standing on the deck of the fifie in the foreground. The fishermen have spread their nets over the port side of the boat and there are fish in the hold of the boat.
