Letter to Doctor Black, Inspector of poor

Second page of letter to Doctor Black from Angus McKay concerning his parents.

Mr McKay expresses his wish that his parents do not become a burden to the parish and says that he will send them one pound and his brother will do the same when he can.

He states that this is all he can do for the minute but that if he was living closer he could do more for them, but he hasn't seen them in ten years. He requests that if they get into difficulties again that the doctor will let him know as soon as possible.
