Letter to Parochial Board from Charles McKay

Request to Parochial board for poor relief for Charles McKay. He was upwards of eighty years of age and was "labouring under a rupture of his bowels, rhumatism and a pain inside which prevents him from so much as bring a creel of peats to keep fuel to himself."

He had to pay for people to look after him but the parochial board was only giving him 4/- per month. So a request for an increase in this allowance was made.
